Blox Fruits Magnet Fruit Explained

Now, the info.

How Magnet Works

Calling up your Magnet Fruit powers summons up a pair of rocket-powered robot arms that hover along behind you. You can increase the power of these arms by collecting Scrap Metal, floating collectibles with a blue aura. The more you collect, the more Magnetic Power you acquire, the bigger the robot arms become, and the more powerful they’ll be. There are three stages overall, with different arm models, and more crucially, different M1 attacks for each phase. It will also increase your defence. You lose Magnetic Power when you take damage.

Passive Ability – Magnetic Pull

Magnet also has its own special passive, Magnetic Pull. This only works from Stage 2 of Magnetic Power, and gets more powerful at Stage 3. Magnetic Pull draws enemies towards you, perfect to line them up for some brutal combos.

Magnet Moveset (Normal)

A screenshot from the Magnet cutscene trailer. It shows a Magnet user, a grinning steampunk-type character in goggles, with two floating mechanical arms either side of him. Behind him lies a junkyard landscape.

These are the moves as your regular self, no transformation.

Z (Tapped) – Scrap Arsenal I

Unlocks on activating Magnet. This lets you fire projectiles at enemies. These also have a magnetic effect, pulling enemies towards them.

Z (Held) – Scrap Arsenal II

Unlocks on activating Magnet. Summons a hovering turret that rains shots down on enemies.

X (Tapped) – Magnetic Overcharge I

Throws a magnetic cage at the target, locking them in one spot before exploding and dealing damage.

X (Held) – Magnetic Overcharge II

A bigger, more powerful version of the tapped version that does better damage and has wider range.

C (Tapped) – Polarizing Drop I

Uppercut with the arms followed by a brutal groundslam.

C (Held) – Polarizing Drop II

Like the tapped version, but holding the button down will pull in any Scrap in the immediate vicinity and automatically add it to the arms.

F (Tapped)

Grab you opponent and unequip their sword weapon.

F (Held)

Summon up a jetpack and start flying. You can use other skills while flying. Taking too much damage will cause the flight to end.

F (Tapped while flying)

Fire your jetpack away as a projectile.

V – Maximum Overdrive (Transform)

When Magnetic Power is full, transform into robot form.

Magnet Moveset (Transformed)

A screenshot from the Magnet cutscene trailer. It shows the Magnet transformed form, a huge robot with silver metallic skin and a skull-like face.

In this new form, you are tankier, and very resistant to gun damage. However, you take extra damage from electricity, so be warned.

Z (Tapped) – Scrap Arsenal I (Transformed)

Fires a heat-seeking missile that tracks onto enemies.

Z (Held) – Scrap Arsenal II (Transformed)

Forms a minigun and fires a barrage of shots forwards.

X (Tapped) – Magnetic Overcharge I (Transformed)

Fires a large scrap projectile that then explodes into a large AOE.

X (Held) – Magnetic Overcharge II (Transformed)

Creates an AOE explosion around the mech, which also pulls enemies towards the center.

C (Tapped) – Polarizing Drop I (Transformed)

Slams a bunch of Scrap down in a large AOE field around the mech.

C (Held) – Polarizing Drop II (Transformed)

Summons up a hammer and spins, creating a movable AEO attack with a large reach. Cannot be cancelled.

F (Tapped) (Transformed)

Releases an AOE sonic boom that unequips the swords of enemies caught in it.

F (Held) (Transformed)

Robot engages its jetpack to fly around.

V – End Maximum Overdrive

Hop out of your mech, returning to normal form. The mech will stay behind for a moment, before self-destructing, dealing damage.

Magnet FAQ

If you’re wondering anything else, then we should have the answer for your here.

When does the Magnet Fruit come out?

Magnet arrives with the latest update, which depending on your timezone, will drop either on the 5 or 6th of September 2026. This new fruit arrives along with a big revamp of the First Sea. This means big changes to all of the First Sea islands, which new rebuilt environments. It also introduces Island Secrets, secret objectives to find on each of the First Sea’s islands that let you unlock new rewards and bump up your level cap.

How can I get the Magnet powers?

By finding a Magnet Fruit, mostly. As far as we know, Magnet should be available through all the usual channels for getting Blox Fruits. That is, found underneath trees, from the Fruit Gacha, from Fruit Sellers if it’s in stock, or through the Robux shop if you’re feeling extremely rich this weekend. We don’t expect it to come cheap. We’ll update this post-update with any other ways we happen to find.

Is Magnet good?

Honestly the jury isn’t out on how well magnet performs just yet. We’d like to see what happens when the PVP community get their hands on it and have a chance to fight. We’ll keep an eye on this, and hopefully test it out for ourselves after release. (Pray for our luck on the gacha, I guess.)

Do you have any other Blox Fruits guides?

Yes! We’ll be releasing an Update 30 codes guide along with the update itself. We also did a showcase on the Mammoth Fruit way back when, talked a bit about The Leviathan, and discussed Lightning variants. (Magnet’s mortal enemy.)
