The dragons return to Viking Rise in the second collaboration with DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon franchise.
The first collab proved to be incredibly popular, so on September 1st 2026, it’s time for the two universes to come together again.

For those new to the Viking Rise title, it’s an online multiplayer game with real-time strategy and building mechanics. As the name suggests, it captures the heart and soul of the Vikings, making it perfect for those with an affinity for the time period.
Hiccup, a well-known Viking from the How to Train Your Dragon books and movies, is the perfect addition to Viking Rise. The same goes for his trusted dragon, Toothless.
They work together to heal the conflict between dragons and humans, and their mission has brought them to Viking Rise.
How to Train Your Dragon-inspired Rewards
As for what’s included in the second Viking Rise x How to Train Your Dragon collaboration, there’s plenty of inspired decor to collect and other cosmetic items, including:

There are also exchange tokens to earn throughout, which you can spend on the exclusive decor from the first Viking Rise x How to Train Your Dragon collab.
