Upcoming Metroidvania top-down action-adventure Magical Blush is releasing next month. Alkacer Game Studio and DANGEN Entertainment have announced that the game is launching on PC on September 10th, 2026, and it’ll be available through Steam, GOG, and itch.io.
Magical Blush takes place in the magical world of Wyn. You play as Arnin, a powerful mage and guardian of the Elemental Lords. She returns from the astral plane and discovers that, uh, things have gone extremely badly while she was away.
Her world has been devastated. And the Elemental Lords have been released by a mysterious figure and are now threatening the land of Wyn. So, Arnin has to travel across her kingdom, save survivors, and figure out what the hell happened.
There’s also the disappearance of her brother, Niran. So, to combat all that, Arnin deals with the fury of different elements in the Elemental System. She has access to Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Spirit magic. Meanwhile, the enemies have elemental strengths, weaknesses, and neutral affinities as well.
The game has a multi-tier spell system. Low-tier spells generate Mana, and you spend that Mana on stronger, high-tier spells. Basically, cast the cheaper stuff, build Mana, then cash that Mana in for something nastier. Rinse and repeat.
You can also customise Arnin’s abilities through Talismans, which you can discover and equip during the journey. These enhance her capabilities and let you shape your playstyle around what you actually like doing.
Magical Blush has Metroidvania adventure-style exploration
Wyn is made up of interconnected stages with branching paths, hidden areas, and plenty of reasons to backtrack. You’ll unlock something new, remember that random blocked-off spot from ages ago, go back there, and hopefully discover something worthwhile.
The latest trailer comes with some upbeat new BGM and gives another look at Arnin’s journey through a world that’s been completely transformed by elemental magic. It shows off explosive elemental abilities and new stages to explore. Watch it here or grab the demo from Steam.
