Indie Publisher Spaghetti Cat Launches Five Demos during Steam Next Fest

Indie publisher Spaghetti Cat has launched five different game demos for Steam Next Fest. You’ve got horror on a train during an insomnia apocalypse, a space casino where you literally pay to breathe, a supernatural adventure involving online dating and a cat, fish fighting the undead, and a cosy, tiny shop.

All five demos of Spaghetti Cat are live now during Steam Next Fest

The first one is developer Siberian Koala’s Going My Way?. It’s a story-driven horror game set aboard a train travelling through a freezing winter night. Releasing later in 2026, the game is a mix of horror and outbreak simulation.

The world has been hit by an insomnia pandemic, leaving people increasingly unstable as the usual rules of society fall apart. You play as a train conductor, observing the passengers, investigating strange events, and working out who’s actually human. Check it out on Steam.

Then there’s Spin To Breathe. Also coming in 2026, it’s a roguelite space sim developed by Spaghetti Cat along with Progressive Games. You run a casino while space pirates attack, explosions are going off around you, and the air you need to stay alive costs money.

The really cruel twist is the oxygen economy. Every breath costs money, and the price goes up as your remaining oxygen gets lower. There are other customers to deal with, too. You’ll receive calls from them and can help with their requests. You can try out the demo on Steam.

Moving from financial ruin in space to romantic disaster in a haunted village, Midnight Souls is a 2D adventure by Bolshakov Sergey. Coming to PC in Q2 2027, it combines puzzles, mystical elements, and horror. The story starts when you travel to the quiet hamlet of Camomile Peaks to meet your online crush.

Unfortunately, your trip turns into a supernatural adventure. You face enemies, physical threats, supernatural phenomena, and bosses. You’ll gather clues, make allies, take risks, and work through puzzles, quick-time events, and various minigames. Get your hands on the Midnight Souls Steam demo for free.

Next is Brofish, an autobattler roguelite with tower defence elements by melatoninx, currently targeting Q1 2027. Catch and upgrade bizarre fish, combine items and effects, and hold back hordes of undead before they can destroy your village. Your ultimate goal is to protect everyone from the Sea King, an evil Sea God.

The game takes inspiration from Plants vs. Zombies, Brotato, Super Auto Pets, and The Binding of Isaac. You play as a simple Fisher Girl trying to protect her home. The full game features 60 creatures and more than 100 items. Fishing takes place across five unique biomes: Forest River, Blooming Jungle, Cave River, Frozen Pond, Bloodred Sea, and the Abyss. Check out the demo on Steam.

Finally, we have Tiny Shop, Scoreboard Games’ cosy sandbox building simulator with hand-drawn art. You create a charming little shop that people want to return to. You can arrange furniture, stock shelves with products, choose decorations, and experiment with different layouts. The demo is now live on Steam.
