Funny Co-Op Physics Platformer Fling Up Together Drops a Steam Demo

Fling Up Together is a 2-player online co-op physics platformer by indie developer OFF BOX Studios. The studio just dropped a new gameplay trailer for Fling Up Together, along with a free demo on Steam. In the game, you and another player are literally tied together by one rope.

The sort of co-op game that tests whether two friends actually like each other!

You’ll be climbing a vertical world filled with sky islands, floating ruins and absolutely massive bridges. You’re attached to your mate. So, if one of you falls, you’re both dealing with it.

The rope is your main tool. You can pull it to fling your friend across a gap, catch them when they’re falling, drag them around when they need help, or completely ruin the run. And because either player can pull the rope whenever they want, every successful rescue and every catastrophic mistake is somebody’s fault.

There’s another layer to the teamwork with colour-coded platforms. Each player can only stand on platforms that match their own colour. So, one person might be able to open up a route but then can’t simply leave their friend behind. They have to physically haul the other player across using the rope. The classic motto of ‘No men left behind.’

That forced interdependence is the entire task that you deal with. There’s no solo progress, no separate checkpoints and no convenient way for one player to just carry on after the other has messed up.

The ragdoll physics, silly characters and moving obstacles are what make every mistake funny rather than frustrating. Failure here becomes part of the entertainment instead of just feeling like punishment.

Fling Up Together is set to launch for PC in 2027, but you can check out the demo on Steam.
