It’s not common for pet wear to get so much attention, and yet this elusive panda-themed cap has started a wishlist surge. After some digging, I’m here to tell you how to get the Panda Cap in Adopt Me, including its estimated value, and why it’s so rare and sought-after.
Let’s get into it!
How To Get The Panda Cap in Adopt Me
The Panda Cap was a code-exclusive pet wear that no ordinary player could redeem. To get one, you had to attend the San Diego Comic-Con back in July 2026 and purchase the physical Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon plushie for $29.99 from the official Adopt Me vendor stall.
Attached to the Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon was a code for the Panda Cap. Plenty of Adopt Me toys released in the past also included game codes to redeem for virtual items, but what makes the Panda Cap so special is its exclusivity.
Typically, the SS Bat Dragon plush from the online Adopt Me merchandise wiki (unofficial but trusted source) shows that the code with this plush will unlock the Strawberry Beanie. This means the ONLY way to get the Panda Cap was to be an attendee and buy one of the Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragons from the con before units sold out.
Panda Cap Value

In-game, the Panda Cap is only labelled as Rare, despite being limited and very exclusive. Given its few-day launch, location exclusivity, and real-world price tag, it fetches a lot when traded.
Which, yes! Fortunately, the Panda Cap IS tradeable.
According to the Adopt Me Trading Values checker website (unofficial), the Panda Cap is currently valued at 262 Ride Potions, with its closest pet trade match being the Frost Dragon (Panda Cap is slightly under). However, because of how rare this cap is, players may be willing to overpay to get their hands on one.
If you don’t already have one via code redemption, the only way to get a Panda Cap is through trading.
