So, Lou’s Lagoon is now available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and Xbox Series X|S. There’s a 10% discount available across all platforms for a limited time. The game comes from Tiny Roar Studios and is published by Megabit and rokaplay.
Uncle Lou is nowhere to be found!
He goes missing after a nasty storm hits the tropical Limbo archipelago. So, you go look out for him in your seaplane. There’s a bunch of islands to explore, communities that need some serious help after the storm, and a mystery involving your missing uncle.
Apart from the plane, there’s the Swirler, which is a gloriously ridiculous vacuum-powered multi-tool. You can use it to collect scrap, native plants, materials dropped by Limbo’s wildlife and all sorts of other resources.
The resources actually have a purpose in Lou’s Lagoon. You can use what you collect to repair buildings, craft goods and help the storm-damaged communities get back on their feet. You can also upgrade your gadgets as you go, opening up more things to do, including scooping, building, gliding and fishing.
The Limbo archipelago is made up of vibrant islands with their own communities, problems, hidden treasures and ancient secrets. You’ll meet the Charneys in Tangle Bloom, the liveliest town in the archipelago. Gleam Reef is where you can watch the Vooi move along with the music of the tides. And then there’s Boulderia, which is home to the grumpy Gorplins who mine sugar crystals.

You also get your own island base, where you can build and decorate your beach hut. And don’t forget the main motive: collect clues, follow Lou’s trail and eventually uncover what happened to him.
