With Pixel Lineage Keys, you can summon exclusive Dungeons, offering rare weapons and armor pieces. There are also Blighted Keys in Pixel Lineage now, which I’ll go into more detail about in this guide.
If you’re struggling to progress or you’re finding Nightmare runs too difficult, you might be wondering how to change class in Pixel Lineage. You can technically change, but it requires a reset.
Pixel Lineage Keys
Keys grant you access to exclusive Dungeons in Pixel Lineage. You can use them via your inventory to spawn their corresponding Dungeons.
There are currently three to explore:
- Emerald Jungle
- Requires the Silverback Key
- Japanese Garden
- Requires the Sakura Key
- Lionheart Citadel
- Requires the Lionheart Key
How to Get Keys
The only way to get Keys at this time is by playing on Nightmare difficulty. These Keys aren’t overly rare and have a chance to drop from any Act during a run.
You just need to make sure your character is strong enough to deal with Nightmare runs; they can be super challenging.

Japanese Garden
Use the Sakura Key to spawn the Japanese Garden Dungeon.

Spawn the Lionheart Citadel Dungeon with the Lionheart Key.

About Keys
When you select a Key in your inventory, there’s some information you should take note of before entering the Dungeon. To the left of the item description, you can find out which Land the Key will take you to. The higher the number of the Land, the more loot you can get from the Dungeon.
Blighted Keys
You can even add a multiplier to Keys by using Blighted Slimes. These slimes drop from levels of Torment, which you can then use to Blight a Dungeon Key. These Blighted Dungeon Keys then gain stat multipliers that match the Torment level where the Blighted Slime dropped.
Like with the regular Torment mode, any items that drop after using a Blighted Dungeon Key have a chance to be Tormented.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I Need Keys?
Unless you want the exclusive weapons or armor pieces, not really. However, because of how rare they are, they might be perfect for your current build. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get the Keys, but if I manage to get them during Nightmare runs, then I might as well use them. I’m not confident enough in my build to properly take on Nightmare difficulty yet though, I’ve already had to restart my character twice.
Are Blighted Keys Worth it?
Due to the multipliers provided by the Blighted Slime, Blighted Keys are much better than their regular counterparts. However, this does mean farming the higher levels of Torment for the best multipliers.
