Let’s get into it.

How To Reset in Clover RPG

Resetting Stats

Stats control your overall build, modifying attributes to refine and redefine your character. You may want to refund these stats if you have misspent stat points and want a new build, or to balance out. Usually, you only earn Stat Points when levelling up, but if you reset them, you can earn back those you’ve previously spent and use them again.

To do this, visit the Lady of the Lake NPC, who resides in the Great Mushroom Forest of the Mushroom Region, and choose the Gift of Renewal. Pay the asking cost, being Insights and/or Marks, and you’ll have your stats refunded.

  • Agility: Increases movement and combat finesse.
  • Endurance: Increases maximum resolve.
  • Vitality: Increases toughness, granting more maximum health.
  • Strength: Increases misdirect damage and scaling on physical attacks.
  • Intelligence: Increases maximum mana capacity.
  • Magic Power: Increases magical potency and damage dealt by magic attacks.

Magic Mastery Reset

From the most recent update, there is now a way to reset your Magic Mastery. To do this, you need to retrieve the Magic Mastery Reset item, which has a 5% drop chance each time you clear a Grimoire Evolution Trail. Once attained, you use it from within your inventory to refund your invested Magic Mastery.

Resetting Weapon Proficiency

If you end up with undesirable Weapon Skills, you need the Weapon Proficiency Reset. Head to the Whispering Hills, connected to Kamo Village (starter area), and enter the house at the top of the hill. Speak with Percival, and choose the first dialogue option, requesting to spar with him.

This will teleport you into the Blade Master’s Gauntlet, where you need to fight and defeat Percival for a chance to get the Proficiency Reset item. As the Magic Mastery reset, you use this from your inventory.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I invest my stats?

First, you need to consider how you prefer to play. Ideally, you want to invest stats based on your end goal. For example, if you want balance, you’ll distribute stats through several columns. Or, if you want a more focused build, you’d instead pool the majority of your stats into two, maybe three stats.

You also need to figure out if you’d prefer to wield magic or deal physical damage as your primary source of combat, and invest in Strength, Intelligence, and Magic Power accordingly.

What is the meta stat build?

I’m not sure about this, as I don’t play for metas.

However, I always suggest reserving a chunk of stats for Vitality, increasing your maximum health. There isn’t much point in only focusing on strength and creating a glass cannon build, where one hit on you could take you out of a fight.

How do I hard reset my save?

When joining the game, from the menu, click on your character and then select Wipe Data. This will take you back to the very beginning and delete everything you’ve achieved so far.
